"Great Software"

Pros

Such a great add on for iTunes. While you need iTunes for it to connect to Apple products, it makes it so easy to add and remove stuff to those products. I was about ready to sell my iPod and Ipad and get an android tablet as I am fed up with iTunes. PhoneTrans saved the day.

Cons

None as PhoneTrans is perfect.

Summary

This is by far the best "replacement" for iTunes.

"Simple file transfer between computer and iPhone."

Pros

I simply wanted to be able to drag mp3 files from a hard disk folder of my choosing and drop it into my iphone, plus delete single or multiple mp3 files on my iPhone by simple highlight and right-click. This program allowed me to just that. I don't understand why these simple tasks, common to all Windows programs, are such convoluted processes in iTunes.

"Unable to transfer from PC to PC"

Pros

I suspect that this program works elegantly as designed to go from iPod, iPhone, or iPad to a computer ...

Cons

... however, since I was trying to find something to transfer my files from PC to PC, it wasn't helpful for me. I would love to find something that would allow me to bypass iTunes forever. Waiting for my fairy godmother on that one.

"Excellent for file transfer."

Pros

All I needed was an easy program to move about 70 songs from my iPhone 3 to my iPhone 4 (most of which were ripped from CDs.) This program did it with ease.

Cons

None, but my use was pretty limited (see the pro's section of my response.)

No CONS at all, after searching for so many different apps, this is THE BEST.

Easy to select and export music from my iPhone 4s

None as of yet.

Summary

After having to wipe clean my home computer, I subsequently lost my sync with iTunes for my iPhone. No biggie except that some of my music I can't get anymore.
Apple in it's infinite wisdom has reinforce why I don't like them. If only someone else had created the iPhone. Oh well.
With PhoneTrans I was able to salvage my non replaceable music.
Awesomeness!
