"Expensive, propriatary software"

Version: AutoKrypt 10.02

Pros

from what I can tell not too much.

Cons

* tries to buy itself into user focus (#1 in encryption software? -> sponsored match)
* is at version 10, but has only 274 downloads: how does that make any sense?
* at 99$ this is very expensive software
* it's not opensource so it's difficult to judge if there are any backdoors etc pp in this software
* there are very nice alternatives out there that do similar stuff for free or much less
