"Pretty good product"

January 22, 2014  |   By ShaneRUSS

Version: TouchCopy 12.36

Pros

-Easy to use
-Was able to recover important files

Cons

None that I can think of

Summary

After my iPhone started acting up, I thought I would lose all everything that was on it. I had a lot of important information on there for both school and work. Luckily, I managed to find TouchCopy, which saved the day. It took me no time at all to recover my files. I was able to get everything off my iPhone - my music, playlists and even text messages, voice mails, and photos. It was very easy to operate which I found to be very useful.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone who needs to retrieve important iPhone files, I found it well worth the money.

"TouchCopy is the best software for transferring files"

June 9, 2013  |   By GeekAllTheWay

Version: TouchCopy 12.09

Pros

Works fast
Easy to understand
Transfers music, photos and other files from iPhone to your computer

Cons

Still looking for cons

Summary

I had a big problem. Some time ago I bought a used iPhone. I wanted an iPhone so badly that I bought an old phone. I had no money to pay for a new iPhone. I always buy unlocked phones because I don't want phone companies to suck money out of my pockets. Oh, these phone companies! They use our love for new technology and just play on it every day. Unfortunately for me, I had no money to dump into an unlocked new iPhone. Nevertheless my old iPhone worked. It's an iPhone after all! I loved what I could do with my good old iPhone until there was time to get a new computer.
I accumulated a lot of music files, photos, very large video files and a lot of other things I wanted to keep on my brand new computer. When I started transferring all those files, I started hitting a wall. It would start out OK and it would go down in the middle of the transfer. It was so frustrating. I had no idea what to do. I called all my friends. I posted questions on facebook. You see, not all of my friends are computer geeks. They are simple people that have regular jobs, very often they have nothing to do with computers. Actually, a lot of my friends look up to me to tell them what to do when it comes to computers. Seriously, I am not kidding.
Then I started digging internet to get some information. I found some programs, tried some of them but I was not satisfied. I could not get what I wanted fast. When I tried to use one program it took me entire day to get acquainted with the software and to start using it. At the end of the day it went down the drain. Just did not work.
And then I went to YouTube and found this channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/TouchCopy The channel has many videos and a lot of subscribers. I thought about their software: "It's probably not a bad program. So many people subscribed to the channel!" I decided to try the program. What do you know, it worked! As a matter of fact it worked so smoothly and fast that now I recommend all my friends to use TouchCopy for their data transfers and backups.
Here is what TouchCopy will do for you without any problems:
It will back up everything from iPhone including voice and SMS messages, music, all kinds of images, apps, audiobooks, ebooks and videos. It does not matter how big the files are. When it comes to contacts, TouchCopy can export your contac t not only to a computer, but into Outlook, if you are using it. TouchCopy is a super good software. I wish my friends knew about it before I spent all that time trying to find it. Now you can and should tell your friends about TouchCopy. It takes pain of losing your beloved files away. I will be using TouchCopy again and again. It's that good.

"Efficiently transfer/backup content for Apple products."

April 29, 2013  |   By petaeraugustus

Version: TouchCopy 12.07

Pros

TouchCopy has recovered thousands of songs, playlists, and photos from my iPhone which is extremely fortunate for me, because my content had been trapped on my iPhone ever since the hard drive of my computer failed months ago. But TouchCopy helped me change all of that with its easy and efficient transfer process: all of my songs, videos, bookmarks, apps, album art, and much more were able to be restored with full integrity to my computer. I'm ecstatic to have my all my iTunes content back on my new computer. I had many years' worth of album art, playlists, and song ratings (I'm a very organized music listener), and I just don't know what I would've done were it not for the backup services of TouchCopy.
If there is anyone who is thinking of downloading this program who has gone through similar issues (such as a computer hard drive crash), I implore you to go ahead and take a chance on TouchCopy. You won't regret it! It's easy, efficient, and can perform any transfer you need.

Cons

No cons whatsoever from what I could discern.

Summary

Transfer/Backup any content for iPad, iPhone, iPod.

"Easy to use, saved my iPhone content, many features."

March 6, 2013  |   By CatherinaS

Version: TouchCopy 12.06

Pros

Touch Copy truly lives up to its name. With just a touch or two, you can transfer your iPhone texts, songs, photos or whatever you require to your computer. I found the program easy to use and navigate. It downloaded fast and installed quickly on my laptop. It also doesn't get your system stuck like some other programs do. I am truly grateful to have my iPhone content back on my computer.

Cons

I am pleased with this software, have no complaints

"Limited performance capabilities"

February 17, 2013  |   By mmir23

Version: TouchCopy 12.05

Pros

Good software for handling music

Cons

Crashes very easily!!!

Summary

I purchased TouchCopy pretty much for the sole purpose of transferring conversations from my phone to my Mac and found that I couldn't transfer the conversations with people I care about the most because there were too many messages. The software crashed every time I attempted it. It seems that when it attempts to load conversations with any more than about 1500 messages, it crashes immediately. Serious performance issues here. It was pretty much a waste of my money because I don't need it for anything else.

"This Utility Creates A Third Option"

August 20, 2012  |   By AnyDaAngel

Version: TouchCopy 11.25

Pros

It backs up NEARLY everything from an iPhone.
-Messages (both voice and SMS/Text)
-Music
-Pictures
-Apps
-Contacts List (can also export these straight into outlook)
-Audiobooks
-Books
+I'm sure there's some other things I'm forgetting to list.

Cons

Either I missed the way to save my video files I'd taken with the phone or it's not there. This was easy enough - just access it with windows + copy + paste into folder of saved files.

I didn't see any way to know if it saved files I'd edited within apps - such as articles I'd written in the Moleskine app...but those apps can all send your files in e-mail form, so this really isn't much of a drawback.

Summary

I needed to remove my iPhone 4 from my beloved old laptop that has one foot in the graveyard, and pronto... but I just wasn't willing to start from ground zero if my entire phone was wiped in the process and I couldn't find any sites that told me what would actually happen when I let iTunes erase the files it warned me were in danger when I synched with my new laptop.

If this is why you're reading my review, rest easy, my friend. It's only the non-iTunes music that got wiped (not even the apps). This lovely program had my non-iTunes media backed up on my new laptop in the folder I specified, so I could just put those files right back where they belonged. (Which made me feel a little bit like a super hero, take THAT, corporations who want to control MY personal media!)

$25 was a small price to pay for piece of mind - if anything ever goes wrong with the iPhones in our household (we have three), the iPads (we have two) or my iPod (one), I can access everything I need from this one simple program.

The video at youtube is outdated, because this program does way more than it showcases.

This little utility program puts you back in the driver's seat of what will happen with YOUR OWN files. It's like borrowing a super-hero's powers for the afternoon and getting to keep his cape in the end as a souvenir to wave around when you tell stories to your grandchildren.

Maybe if I didn't have nearly 2,000 songs I wouldn't have had so much at stake..but when Amazon has music files at a better price so often, what's a girl to do? $25 well spent. Erasing media VS. staying tethered to an old or crashed computer is no choice at all, it only adds insult to injury! Buy the abilities of this utility and give yourself the third option, you won't regret it.
