then costs $15 to upgrade. Not worth that kind of money.SummaryA very pleasing visualizer for iTunes, but way to expensive.
Would give 5 stars if price was lower.

Very cool software, but their upgrade policy is a major scam. Developers should be ashamed of themselves.Reply to this review Was this review helpful? I bought this over a year ago, the Gold version, ($35 i think...) Was happy enough with the visuals, though not blown away.User interface clunky and non-intuitve. Many of the graphics were ugly to me, so i didnt use it much.
But imagine my surprise when one year after I bought it, the update is going to cost me... the full purchase price again! Every f@#$%! year!
Pissed off and will NEVER support this greedy company again.

G-Force is an excellent product, and worth enough to me that I've subscribed for three years now. I must be foolish to do so, but I enjoy what G-Force displays, and it's worth it to me.
If there are better products out there, maybe he can port it to Mac OS and iTunes. Until I see something better, I'm going with G-Force!

This visualizer, like most visualizers for iTunes, sucks. There's no other way of putting it. It comes nowhere near what a good visualizer is supposed to be. To see an example of a real visualizer, check out Milkdrop. It's only for Winamp which only runs on Windows, but it still beats the pants off of this thing. And to think that G-Force has been in development for several years now and still hasn't caught up with Milkdrop which was developed years before this even came out. Just sad.Reply to this review Was this review helpful? (0) (1) 5.0 stars"Fixed"June 25, 2007 | By WhiteDog Version: G-Force 3.7SummaryThis review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
This update fixed a problem I was having with the screen saver function of G-Force. When it started the G-Force title would display for several minutes before the patterns would start running. During this time, if I tried to escape back to the desktop it would freeze the computer. So I was effectively locked out until G-Force finished loading. This problem was fixed in 3.7 update.Reply to this review Was this review helpful? g-force never worked for me ever since it turned osx. always gives me a letterbox view whatever the resolution. now that i have an imac widescreen i thought i'd try it once more. letterbox again! maybe apple need to invent a ultrarwide screen. this only happens to g-force and no other visual plugin. £20 is not expensive but don't really want to throw money away.Reply to this review Was this review helpful? This app just keeps getting better and I have no problem in paying for it. I love what it does. Still, I just have to wonder.... Why do Macs not get as cool visual plugins as Windows users seem to get? I have freinds who have these amazing visualizers that go through 3D tunnels and Over Terrains and Melt and Vortex and do all these amazing things, but all that we Mac users seem to mostly get are squiggly lines with an occasional meltdown that doesn't last... even with a 1.9 GHz G5 Machine!!! This just doesn't seem fair. Still, I'm grateful for what I have and for my Mac as well. Just wish the visualizers were altogether better than they are.Reply to this review Was this review helpful? It's really not cool enough to justify the money I spent on it...if it rendered a much smoother and better set of graphics than the built-in iTunes visualizer (free) does it might be worth $20 or $30. This is WAY overpriced for what it is, and I'm not biting for an 'upgrade' every year, forget it!Reply to this review Was this review helpful? (0) (0)
