This program is SPAM. DO NOT DOWNLOAD! Spam programs will be installed while downloading BEFORE you choose what to install! DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS PROGRAM! CNET has been a trusted site, but with this download they have corrupted their own site. SPAM programs will be installed from CNET!

Nothing (anymore that is)

Downloaded files won't play with WMP or on anything else for that matter.
Wants to set your homepage as a dumb search engine.

Summary

The update before this most recent one was perfect. I didn't mind ads and it seemed to remove bugs from earlier versions. Now the audio files simply won't play and it wants to set me up with some new home page. 0/10

"Used to be great, now packed with malware!"

Pros

Once the SmileysWeLove malware is removed - which is uncomfortable and requires more than a casual user knowledge of your OS - it goes smoothly and does a great job.

Cons

Bundled with malware. Thus I'm giving half star as it is utterly unacceptable.

Summary

This software used to be really good. It makes me so sad to see a quality product turn into something sneaky and malicious. It is very unprofessional and unethical of DVDVideoSoft Ltd. What a disappointment! So far this was the software when it came to quick and easy audio conversion or YouTube download, but now not only I am switching, but I'm persuading all my relatives and close friends to stop using this piece of sad letdown.

OK, I wanted to edit my review because I think I was coming off a bit harsh. So I haven't checked any boxes that I want to install any toolbars, yet I've still had to remove SmileysWeLove and an other SqueekyChocolate, LLC product from 3 different places of my computer. What's worse I can see myself when visiting parents, uncles and aunts it will be my task to remove these extra weird bars from their gmail's and facebook's. I guess this is the price when you're using free software.

it's very useful application for everyone. User friendly simple interface is easy to understand for kids. Button on YouTube is great simple way to download MP3. But user can paste URL on this program's main window. and it's very powerful tool, because it has option to download, user can change or choose audio quality and type. downloading and converting progress is faster than any other programs, so i very appreciate this application. and user can download many videos in same time, it's good., Works with many video sites, download, convert, pause, resume, cancel, tag for downloaded files, download history, open download link list from test file, auto-download option, shut down after conversion option etc. it's very powerful tool, i recommend this application to everyone who asked "how to download and convert video files?" from me, it's the best solution!

BTW: in your reviews please don't call all music "SONGS" - much good music is not singing but symphonies, concertos, band, organ, piano ETC.....!! Agreed - some of the best music is vocal - choral etc (eg Bach, Mozart, Schubert) and conversely MOST modern vocal music ("songs"?) is not real good!! So what about the more general term "MUSIC" in future reviews, not just the very limited term "songs" - PLEASE?? - many thanks. RJ.
