"Absolute Rubbish"

None whatsoever.

Cons

99% of the time you cannot connect to the internet! The 1% of the time you can your IP address is NOT hidden which a simple google search for what is my IP confirms as your real IP comes up.

Summary

Do NoT waste your time with the FREE version & DO NOT waste your money & time with the Pro version. Total frustrating experience. Polite but totally useless customer support almost as useless as Surf Anonymous Free software itself.

"Trojan horse is right! Do not download"

I was tired and didn't read the reviews. What a mistake!, took Norton AV, Malware and Spybot 3 unique passes to remove all the infected files. How is this product endorsed by CNET?

"Owrthless Junk (Trojan Horse)"

Pros

NOTHING unless you are looking for a contender of the crappiest software that installs junkware in your computer. Then this may be your ticket.

Cons

It installs a bunch of other crap software. It does not hide ANYTHING. WHAISMYISP.COM can identify EVERYTHING, my IP, ISP. The only missing was a live picture of me using my computer. This is 100% pure junk. DO NOT DOWNLOAD treat it as a virus.

Summary

It installs it (and a bunch of other crapware). Then it tells you it hides your IP but it does not. They just wrote a clever program tha shows a random IP from some place else. It does NOTHING. DO NOT INSTALL THIS. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!

"Trojan Horse!"

None. I don't know if it hides your IP, it doesn't interface well with Chrome.They don't tell you that.

Cons

The version I downloaded last week was infected with a Trojan horse. It took me a full day to get all the junk out of my computer. I ended up having to run System Restore after I eliminated it with RogueKiller, as it messed with Explorer.

Summary

There are other VPNs out there. I like Hot Spot Shield. This one is insistent upon trying to get back into the registry. I am having a hard time getting rid of it entirely, but my anti-malware keeps it from getting in. Use this one at your own risk, it has a huge virus.

"Not working."

None.... well it did correctly identify my IP address!

Cons

Gives a FALSE sense of security/anonymity.
Takes up space on my hard drive.

Summary

Using the latest Firefox browser (Version 22) this software does nothing.
My IP address is still clearly visible when visiting several IP checks including this one:
http://whatismyipaddress.com/

Going by it's rating, the other versions must have worked worked, but I can see nothing good that this software is doing.

"Didn't work for me"

Tried to watch videos on hulu and hgtv, didn't fool them. Consistently said, "Video not available".

"Even the PRO version Ain't hiding!"

I paid only $25 (50% discount.) which means I lost only $25.

Cons

1. GRC.COM detected my true IP immediately.
2. Browsing became extremely slow, and most often than not, the browser gave up.

It would not connect to some sites at all. I checked my IP online and Surf Anonymous was NOT hiding my real IP address. The software simply lies to you. But you can have more features and options for $39.99, bleep off. This is NOT FREE.

Extremely easy to use.

Cons

Only US IP address for use in trial version;
Little slow when using fake IP address to surf.
