I updated my database through this software even when I am offline I am able to update my virus protection.

need to download core software from www.protectorplus.com

"Protector Plus Rocks! It works when others wouldnt!"

Pros

I had a nasty virus and worms on my pc. I tried downloading many anti virus softwares and the worm wouldnt allow me to install any of the anti virus programs.
Protector Plus was released today and I downloaded it and installed it with no problems.

Cons

There are no cons

Summary

I ran a full scan and it found and defeated 70 trojans, virus and worms on my pc. Thank you so much! It worked when others wouldnt!

"DON'T DO IT!"

I wouldn't know; I never got that far

Cons

Right after I installed this software, my display screen turned the blue-doo of death. I had to reinstall my Operating System because I couldn't see a and consequently couldn't uninstall it.

Bottom line: kills more than viruses.

"Install, Review Database Update at CNET?"

Pros

CNET seems to be confused over this. Why would someone who has a subscription to a software program go to CNET to download Or review updates to the database? (I can understand reviewing new versions of the product).

Cons

The current database for Protector Plus is indeed 8.0.D48. The current product version is 8.0.D02. The latter is what should be reviewed.

Summary

CNET should put Protector Plus product version 8.0.D02 up for review and eliminate reviews on virus signature updates.
