The AUTOHARP is a stringed instrument having a series of chord bars, when depressed, mute all the strings other than those that form the desired chord. Despite its name, the autoharp is not a harp – It´s a chorded zither. It´s a perfect instrument to give your music a subtile highlighted shape*.

As the name suggests “Bowed Guitars” is a collection of acoustic guitar and acoustic bass instruments played exclusively with a bow. By playing these instruments this way, you´ll get a special and unique string sound: intimate and intensive with slight organic scraping. The bass is available as an amped or a clean version. We used a Martin acoustic guitar and a Harley Benton acoustic bass.

The Celtic Nylon Harp is a small-sized harp with a height of nearly 39 inch (98 cm) and is usually designed for traditional music. The wooden instrument ranges in three octaves between C2 and C5 and has got 22 strings which are made of nylon and are plucked with the fingers. The harp has a lever close to the top of each string; when it is engaged, it shortens the string so its pitch is raised a semitone (sharped note if the string was a natural). The warm sound of the nylon strings is inspiring and adorable.

“Experimental Music” is the genus for a couple of music styles, which incorporate unorthodox and unique elements. The Experimental Box we offer focuses on aspects of glitch, minmal and noise music and gives you a full toolbox of ingredients for cacophony, dissonance, atonality, noise, glitch, machines, hum, and repetition. It is a wonderful assortment of highgly playable rhythms, ambients and instruments which are perfect for writing music in an experimental and minimalist way. Beyond this, the box is suitable for combination with atmospheric, ambient and cinematic music…or just to build a wild cacophony.

This is the second part of our successful experimental section: The “Experimental Box V2“. This time we focuses on objects and elements we found in a smithy of an artist blacksmith. We created a nice mishmash of highly playable rhythms, textures and instruments which are perfect for writing music in an experimental and minimalist way or giving your music a special character.

On string instruments, players can cause a string to vibrate only in sections by touching it lightly at the appropriate point. This can produce a pure and clear note of a cool, silvery quality. It is called ‘flageolet notes’ or ‘harmonics’.

The Kantele is a traditional plucked string instrument of the zitherfamily native to Finland and Estonia which, in turn, is part of the Baltic Psalteries instrument group. The KANTELE has a distinctive bell-like sound and diatonic tuning. Our Kantele has five strings tuned in G-A-B-C´and D´, but we made a Kontakt patch to play it in chromatic tuning*.

The Spieluhr (as known as musicbox) is a small instrument which produces sounds by the use of a set of pins placed on a rotating cylinder plucking the tuned teeth of a steel comb*. Our musicboxes are tiny with a size of 2,4 x 2 x 1?. The Glockenspiel is a percussion instrument, composed of a set of tuned metal bars resting over a frame like a trough. We used the legendary red children model of Hohner™ with a small range from C4 to F5.
Thanks to their high pitch, both instruments produce a very assertive and bright sound.
