"The best software for records screen in video."

Pros

I have tried different software to record everything that happens on the screen with the mouse pointer or not yet included.
This is by far the best.
It need register ourselwes, but registration is free and all the program is free and works great.
This program also allows conversion to AVI and Flash (for free) while the paid version adds various other formats conversion.
The sound and voice are perfectly synchronized with the video.

It downloads the video in a folder in documents and at the end there is the option of reviewing all directly from the program and also to transform the result in two formats sayed above.

Cons

No cons at this time.

Summary

I recommend strongly this program to all users who need it.
VERY GOOD, NO SPYWERE.

"Wow! Best of them all"

Great AV quality with no copyright, logos or watermarks. Free. No malware

Cons

Easy but not intuitive; small learning curve. Did not install desktop icon after I made SURE to check the box.

Summary

Basically I want to screen capture video with sound, save, and edit with other software. Upon running the first time, it asked me to register; I got the impression that the free version is actually a 30 day trial. ???
BBFExpress seems to have little editing capability besides cropping and a very cool option to disappear the cursor. The default record/playback is at 8fps but is easily changed to 30fps or whatever.
The software downloads from the UK and projects have a .fbr extension(?)... but you can export as flv or avi (more options in pay versions). It took several minutes to export a 90 second video as flv.
Exported videos have a very small amount of pixelation, but overall the picture and sound quality is extremely good. Colors are true and sound is in sync. Light years superior to any of the 8 or 10 similar free software I've tried.

"Awesome program, better than all the others I've tried."

Pros

This program works fast and is light on the CPU. But most importantly it does what it says it will do with bugs. It captures my screen and microphone perfectly with no problems. Other programs have failed and frustrated me with their bugs, but this one is great so far. By the way the quality of the video is amazing also.

Summary

I've tried Cam studio, Free Screen to Video, Microsoft Expression encoder, and more. And they all have major bugs that make me record my screen tutorials again and again, ANNOYING. But this program worked flawlessly right out of the gate and has amazing quality results.

Although listed as available services, the software does not upload to YouTube (the software freezes) and does not convert to a single file flash video (even when the option is selected).

"Record the audio really well!"

Pros

I found similar softwares having difficulties getting the screen and audio recording right, but this software does it with a breeze. Well done.

Cons

#1 Price - $89 is borderline expensive for a standard version. I reckon they'd sell more if the price is closer to $50. Their top of the line Pro Edition also costs $199 and with Camtasia only $100 more it's a pretty tough sell.
#2 It requires 2 steps process to convert the initial recording into avi or other common formats while cheaper softwares would automatically do it (ok - I got the idea. You have the chance to edit it before converting it. It is still a hassle though)

Summary

They got it right with this one. I am happy with the output. Price is the thing to consider with both the Standard and Pro version.

Summary

I got the Standard edition and it is the best screen cap software I've used so far. I make short, simple videos for my educational website to explain/enhance certain points of information and this software more than does the job. The editing features in the Pro edition would probably be nice to have, but I didn't think it was worth the extra cost for my needs. I'm very satisfied with this product.

"A Much Welcomed Alternative to Hypercam"

BB FlashBack Standard Edition is a much welcomed alternative to Hypercam. I was quite impressed that users such as myself, who are used to the Windows Movie Maker scheme will have an easy time with it. At first I was appalled at the massive price tag this program brought with it, but all of your $89 are being well spent.
