Smart Cutter for DV and DVB Portable

Smart Cutter for DV and DVB Portable is a Frame Accurate H.264 AVCHD MPEG2 video editor. You can split and join movies in ps or ts formats captured by DV Camcorder and DVB HD PVR easily with this tool. Cut commercials out of video stream. Especially, only small parts on start and end points will be re-encoded, the middle part will remain untouched, lossless. This gives highest speed while reserving highest video quality. So it is called 'Smart Rendering'. Supporting M2TS, TS, PS, TP, TRP, MTS, MPG, VOB; H.264 or AVC, AVCHD, MPEG2, DVD.

What's new in this version: Version 1.7.1 includes fixes for TS audio cut, TS AAC audio, and TS ADTS audio.

"A Good Program that dose a great job, has some bugs!!"

Version: Smart Cutter for DV and DVB 1.4.8

Pros

Easy To Use, Very Basic covering one task, but dose that task very well!

Cons

Still has some basic bugs in it.. With the "Link" box ticked so as to save an edit file you need to place the ".ts" on the end of the file name for it to work, and get a saved file with ".ts.12 ts" When you quit the program 99% of the time it will turn off your computer!! Seams to not clear old work files from memory befor loading new ones. Also watch and check the times! as you mark start & end! they can sometimes be off... But even with these bugs and knowing!! they are there you can run the program and do a days work knowing what could happen when you quit..

Summary

Even with the bugs, it still dose a good job and works, you just need to be aware of the bugs and work around them...
A few ver's later with the bugs fixed.... Will be a great program!!
