Tonehammer Requiem Pro KONTAKT

Tonehammer Requiem Pro KONTAKT | 28.4 Gb
REQUIEM is the successful culmination of a dream we have had for several years. We always believed that there was another way of sampling choir and vocals. We believed it would be possible to have completely audio-realistic choir samples with a strong emotional connection. We believed that we needed to cover all the basic articulations, but also add a variety of new dimensions to this powerful type of sampling.

REQUIEM was recorded over a period of two weeks in one of the oldest and most known cathedrals in San Francisco. The conductor, Robert Geary, is one of the leading choir conductors in the the US and the choir includes members of his multi-award winning VOLTI choir and members from the SF Choral Society.

REQUIEM is the next-generation virtual choir developed for professional composers. The library is based on a variety of new recording and sampling techniques some which have never before been deployed in choral sample libraries. The library can literally sound like a real choir and includes both full choir (SATB), divisi groups (males/females) and solo singers – all recorded in 24 bit / 44.1khz with a total of 6 unique microphone positions. In Requiem Light, these microphone positions are mixed down into a single well-balanced blend, providing all the quality, depth, power, tone and body of our Pro version, while allowing a significant overall conservation of system resources (cpu, ram, storage space and disk streaming bandwidth) and greater ease of use.
We've simplified the content to provide just the most essential articulations and presets.

The library contains sustains and polyphonic true legato from piano to forte, covering 3 primary vowel sounds, over a dozen vowel sustaining variants, 2-velocity staccato with 2X round-robin, ultra forte marcato, two unique phrase and chant sequencers, latin chants recorded at different speeds across entire interval of choir with playable real-time legato functionality, +1000 choral effects including whispers, shouts, clusters, demonic chants, sweeps, consonants, claps, snaps and dozens of other effect types.

Tonehammer Soundiron Old Busted Granny Piano Kontakt

Tonehammer Soundiron Old Busted Granny Piano Kontakt | 207.9 MB
This instrument is pretty special to us, though it doesn’t sound all that great from purely academic point of view. Actually, it sounds pretty damn rough. We realized that there is already a million other amazing piano libraries around, but none of them have ever captured the authentic beauty of a dusty, old, haven’t-been-played-since-granny-lost-her-hearing upright piano. It has been sitting in the living room of an old friend’s house for a good long decade and who knows where it as before that. We don’t know the brand or model off hand, but she looked to be about 60 or 70 years old and quite beat up the last time we saw her.

Her tone is watery and faded.There are a number of broken and badly de-tuned strings, especially in the upper range.The wood is pitted and scratched and the ivory was partially or completely missing from more than a dozen keys. She was way, way out of tune and there were more than a few broken strings in the higher octaves. Every note you’d play started with a loud, wobbly wooden thud and ended the same way as soon as you lifted your finger again. Sometimes, she would creak and groan in the middle of the night, for no reason at all really. Clearly, the years were not kind to her looks or her voice, but her soul truly aged like fine wine.

Details

We captured 3-4 velocity layers on all keys, with added round-robin variation on the two middle octaves in the mf range.There are actually two independent release trigger samples for every note to better replicate the natural behavior of the instrument as we recorded it. Each note has separate string release samples and key release samples.The “key” release trigger is the soft, distant sounding mechanical wooden “thud” that naturally occurs whenever any key is lifted, even after the resonance has faded.

The piano is so old and rickety that you have to very slowly releases the sustain pedal or all of the hammers come crashing back down on the strings and occasionally even get stuck there if you lift your foot too quickly.

Tonehammer Soundiron Ambius Vol 1 Transmissions KONTAKT DVDR (repost)

Tonehammer Soundiron Ambius Vol 1 Transmissions KONTAKT DVDR (repost) | 1.8 Gb
In this first volume of our Ambius series, we focus on the dark, the cryptic, the unnatural and the subliminal, in the form of unearthly angelic bell tones and demonically corrupt signals filtering through the void. This massive collection of ambiences, drones, pads and evolving synth leads were each created by hand. Every sound you hear was hand-crafted using only organic field and instrument recordings. In fact, no synthesizers were used in the creation of this library at all. We used a variety of custom techniques to blend, warp, shape and layer the sounds, taking them from the realm of the known into that of the very unknown. The instruments you'll find in this collection range from simple, clean, tonal leads to compound, constantly moving sound-scapes and textures.

Instruments are broken into 3 main categories (Tuned, Melodic and Horror), with 288 Kontakt programs, 352 looping wav samples and 2.5 GB of total ambient content, plus a selection of our custom stereo convolution reverb impulses. Each instrument includes special controls for multi-layer cross-fading, filtering, intensity, octave/semi-tone stepping and effect wetness control.

You'll find a faded archive of EVP recordings engineered by the dead, ear-witness accounts of unholy medical procedures, insidious swarms of enraged stinging insects, terror winds speaking with voices of pure and ancient decay and bio-mechanical devices worming through primordial pools of seething logic. We also included 7 beautiful tuned solo/lead instruments and a large collection of complex evolving melodic pads, ranging from darkly dissonant to brilliantly harmonious. You will marvel in the sweeping glory of infinite choirs and spin endlessly soaring melodies from our cluster bells.

Tuned Solo:
Clusterbells – Dark, sustaining bell-like drones with a searing top end, these make for great pads and leads.Dig – This set has tonal and textural similarities to a wall of didgeridoos, with plenty of muddy, complex bass and mid tones.
Musiox – Clean, crisp sustaining bell tones
Pangubus – Clouds of vast, warm organ-like texture, morphed with deep brass bells
Pianus – Sustain drawn to infinity.
Protus – Similar in nature to the pangubus, but darker, crisper and yet more dissonant.

Melodic Pads:
Para-orchestral – Orchestral atmospheres and pads, from light and harmonic to dark and discordant.
Re-choral – Choir-like pads and atmospheres, from light and harmonic to dark and discordant.
Transmusical – Dark, evolving, dissonant complex ambient drones

Horror drones, textures and ambiences:
Drill-o-phone – tuned lead instrument created from a dental drill grinding into tooth enamel
The root canal – pads and ambiences created from an actual root canal procedure
EVP – Evil transmissions from the other side, ranging from mystical to horrific
Industry- Dark machines at work.
Panorganics – Strange alien biological auditory experimentation
Rictus – sickly neon lights
Swarming – great killer bee swarms and locust plagues
Winds – storm winds howling through the cracks and endless hallways of an ancient factory building.

Format: NKI WAV

Tonehammer Epic Guitars Vol 1 KONTAKT EXS24 WAV DVDR (repost)

Tonehammer Epic Guitars Vol 1 KONTAKT EXS24 WAV DVDR (repost) | 668 Mb
Tonehammer spend over six months developing this library with one of the best heavy session guitar players in the Scandinavia, Danne Forsblom. Danne used his custom 6, 7 and 8 string guitars in the sessions and played them through a variety of different amps and custom FX pedals. All riffs were recorded between X4 to X16 times (Yes, friggin 16 times!) with ultra-precision resulting in an unprecedently big sound. The core stacking technique is controlled by adjustment of modwheel on the keyboard controller.

The core library contains nearly 2000 riffs/phrases/licks, which are divided into 7 core tempos: 80, 90, 100, 110, 120, 130 and 140 BPM. All the loops/riffs were meticulously edited, so they stay in sync and adapt to host tempo, so you can literally use the loops in any tempo you desire. The style of the library is a mixture of nu metal with a a touch of hard rock/funk on top. We also wanted to ensure longevity and variety in the content, so it both contains more traditional 4/4 type of rhythm riffs, while also having several hundred melodic and rhythmically memorable type of phrases, so the users can literally create new songs out of the content in a matter of minutes.

Tonehammer Alien Drum KONTAKT DVDR

Tonehammer Alien Drum KONTAKT DVDR | 476 Mb
The Alien Drum (aka Hang Drum – trademarked by Pan Art) is a unique tone based percussion instrument, which is almost impossible to come by, since there is only one maker in the world and less than 1000 drums in circulation. The instrument has a soft, sorrowful, melancholic tone to it and is a perfect companion for emotional or ambient type of scores. The Tonehammer Alien Drum is unique in the sense it was recorded at an average of 15 velocity layers and with 10 round-robin repetitions pr. layer/note, so you will never experience any repetition in the articulation. We used custom microphone set-ups to capture the delicate resonance both inside and outside the drum, since the resonance defines the true sound of the drum. Additionally we sampled multiple playing techniques with fingers, palm, slaps, hand brushing and the back-side of the drum, which has the similar properties to the Udu. Multiple versions of all multis allow for a variety of ways to switch or fade between articulations while playing.

Tonehammer Alien Drum Facts:
* Single finger tap on all 8 notes (including ding): 12 – 20 velocity layers, 10x round-robin
* Single finger mute on all 8 notes (including ding): 12 – 20 velocity layers, 10x round-robin
* Fingertip ping on all 8 notes (including ding): 12 – 20 velocity layers, 10x round-robin
* Palm slap on all 8 notes (including ding): 12 – 20 velocity layers, 10x round-robin
* Sound Hole thumps: 12 velocity layers each, 10x round-robin
* Sound Hole edge pings: 8 velocity layers each, 10x round-robin
* Hand Brushes included in finger tap patches: 3 styles, 5-9 velocity layers each, 10x round-robin
* Articulation switching multis (sustain pedal, cc22, midi channel or modwheel fading/switching)
* All multis in standard 8 note and full-range chromatic tuning versions
* 1/4 sized Low-Memory versions of all multis (slightly fewer velocity layers, 4x round-robin)
* 11 instrument patches, 4064 samples, 1.99 GB installed
