Wise Disk Cleaner Portable is a free disk utility designed to help you keep your disk clean by deleting unnecessary files. Usually, these unnecessary or junk files appear as the results of program incomplete uninstallers or temporary Internet Files. Wise Disk Cleaner, with its intuitive and easy to use interface, helps you quickly wipe out all the junk files. There are two ways in which you can do that. If you are a beginner, you may use the wizard and use the program's default settings in order to clean-up your system. If you are an advanced user, you can customize the operations: you can manually select folders to be cleaned-up you can erase files with certain extensions, and exclude folders from the scan. When deleting file, you can choose to erase them forever, or in case you are not sure about them you can delete them to Recycle Bin.

"Twice weekly at night."

Wise Disk and Registry Cleaners can be scheduled, so I run them twice a week at night, to keep my computer clean and fast. tools are helpful. Update installation is straightforward without affecting Windows.

Cons

Not much: update installation is straightforward, but there are nag screens and sometimes choices for other products you might not want.

I tried many anti-virus programs on my computer. This one ain't the best, but is it the one I paid the least. Honestly speaking, I never spend a cent on it. I was so surprised that a free app can provide so many functions, and I hope it can last longer.

Once I install a program called SpyHunter. This one is just a piece of garbage. It laid a trap for me! After installation, my firewall monitors it keeps transmitting data to the Internet. It generates fake detection report and stays in my computer! Thank god, I got yac to deal with this rogue ware! Yac eliminates SpyHunter only in a few minutes!

SpyHunter is made for destruction!

"Investigate first"

When I installed the program, it singled out a virus and trojan that was not picked up by AVAST or Malwarebytes, wich was to its favor; I liked the friendly program script, too. But a strange window kept appearing when YAC was open, instructing that I needed Microsoft Frontpage to perform some function. I looked around, now suspicious about the safety of the program, and the consensus was mixed. But there were enough sites warning that YAC was malware, although I believe there is no virus element to YAC - as some sites have labeled it, YAC may be adware or "scareware." I decided to get rid of it, and REVO Uninstaller failed to eliminate YAC completely, which was surprising. When I tried YAC's own uninstaller, I kept getting the "Microsoft Frontpage" message referred to earlier. (Some sites warn about YAC's uninstallation difficulty.) I finally used System Restore, which still left a big "iSafe" directory; I-deleted that manually.

I'm not saying this is a useless program (although I did feel uncomfortable about all the problems it reported after a scan; I did not feel like I could trust many of the findings), but there may be a sneaky aspect to it. You may want to do some homework, by searching for "Remove YAC - Yet Another Cleaner," and get more of an idea on YAC's pros and cons for yourself.

"More and more people like and use it"

A school mate from Brazil told me that YAC is a useful utility developed by a company from his country. Certainly I know what it is, so we began to discuss on this program. He said every Brazilian is proud of YAC, because it is useful, helpful and free. In my opinion, this program had a space for improvement.

I think YAC can be better.

Wise Registry Cleaner Portable

Wise Registry Cleaner Free Portable cleans, defragments, and optimizes the Windows Registry. It can create automatic backups and run at scheduled times. Since it's wise to clean your disks and system before modifying the registry, it's designed to work closely with Wise Disk Cleaner, another free app from the same developer. However, you can also use the Windows tool or another disk cleaning utility prior to running Wise Registry Cleaner.

At first run, Wise Registry Cleaner wisely suggests backing up the Windows Registry and offers to do it automatically. We agreed and selected both a System Restore Point and a full registry backup, functions we could repeat at will from the taskbar. A left-hand Categories panel offered 16 selections; we opted for the default selections and clicked Scan. Wise Registry Cleaner quickly populated its main view with our registry entries, displaying Root Key, Sub Key, Value, Data, and Categories in draggable columns. A slender filter panel let us select all entries, those safe to fix, and even those not safe to fix from a drop-down list. The program's default recommendation selected only those files safe to fix. We went with that, clicking Fix, and Wise Registry Cleaner swiftly deleted the selected items. Next we ran the Wise Registry Defragment tool, reviewed its scan results, selected a confirmation and restore point, and clicked Defrag Registry. After rebooting, we immediately checked a few programs and peripherals that would quickly show whether there had been any monkey business in the registry, but everything was A-OK. Running our regular registry tool only turned up a handful of entries Wise Registry Cleaner had skipped, perhaps out of caution, which it's hard to overemphasize when modifying the registry.

As the name suggests, Wise Registry Cleaner Free Portable is portable freeware that can run without installation from portable storage devices, making it a versatile addition to your PC toolkit. The documentation's slightly garbled translations offered occasional amusement, doubtless unintentionally. However, the online help and user's manual were clear enough, and nothing about the program's operation is confusing. We can't see paying for a registry cleanup tool when Wise Registry Cleaner does such a fine job for free.

Wise Registry Cleaner scans the Windows registry and finds incorrect or obsolete information in the registry. It features scan the entire registry entries takes only a few seconds, backup registry make it safe to restore, defragments registry make your registry structuring, scheduled task enabling, and easy to use for novice users and pros alike. This software program can delete the junk files and temporary files to release more space in your disk.

Wise Registry Cleaner

The Windows registry is often considered forbidden territory for newbies. Only the most experienced users are encouraged to peer into its contents. Wise Registry Cleaner claims to offer a tool that even the least experienced can use without fear of wreaking havoc upon their computer. While the tool is indeed easy to use, it doesn't offer anything extra to help put new users at ease with their registry.

Wise Registry Cleaner presents a simple, easy-to-understand interface with three tabs at the top that walk you through its cleaning features. We started with the program's main selling point, its Registry Cleaner. Our first scan uncovered 412 registry issues, with six deemed unsafe. We did like that it offers a breakdown of the scan results before any action is taken, allowing you to manually select which keys you want fix instead of leaving it up to the program. What we didn't like was that it didn't ask us if we wanted to create a backup of our registry before moving forward. This is imperative for all users in case a registry key is deleted by mistake. The program does include a Backup feature that lets you create a system restore point and a full backup, but it's up to you to do it first.

Once we had made our selections, we clicked the Start Cleaning button, and in literally a second, the program came back claiming that all but four issues were resolved. For those of us who are forgetful about regular PC maintenance, Wise lets you schedule regular registry scans so that you don't have to remember. As a bonus, the program includes a System Tuneup feature that offers to improve bootup and shutdown speeds; we found that it worked. The Registry Defrag also lived up to its promise of tidying up our registry to improve our computer's performance. An ample online help feature is available, though we think that most users won't need to use it for basic cleanups.

Wise Registry Cleaner installs and uninstalls without any issues. We still don't recommend that new users poke around in their registry, but the program works just fine for those of us who are more comfortable with keeping it maintained.
