5.0 stars

"Great product"

January 9, 2006  |   By Tinman56

Version: MailEnable Enterprise Edition 1.1

Pros

Having previously used Professional, upgraded to Enterprise Edition for the extra features, better spam protection and message filtering. The product is amazingly stable and does everything I need it to.

"be careful of it"

May 3, 2005  |   By guoqizheng

Version: MailEnable Enterprise Edition 1.0

Pros

It is free & reliable. I have been using it for many years, a good product actually.

Cons

Be careful when you need to send out large amount of emails per day. We have a mailing list of 20k email address, it takes the new stardard version of Mailenable > 10 hours to send it out. After contacting them, they adviced to buy the enterprise version. I used their earlier standard version before which sending email is a very fast speed. After upgrading to lastest standard version, I got myself into big trouble. I think they did this by intention to force you to buy their product.

"Good stable mail server - decent feature set"

March 20, 2005  |   By Tinman56

Version: MailEnable Professional 1.2

Pros

I upgraded Standard Edition to Professional for the extra functionality of IMAP and Anti-virus protection. Installing and upgrading has been a breeze - the configuration utility is a standard windows plug-in, all services are clearly labelled and the interface is intuitive...easy for even an inexperienced user like me!

"Even better than the standard version!"

October 24, 2004  |

Version: MailEnable Professional 1.2

Summary

I didn't realise until this morning that they had a professional version. I have previously downloaded the standard version and was extremely impressed with that. So I downloaded professional and I have to say, with the set of features that it has, my impression of the guys at Mail Enable has increased even more. I hope they keep up the good work, because it sure looks great. Great software ought to be rewarded - I am now going to purchase this product.

MailEnable Enterprise Premium

MailEnable Enterprise Premium is a fully featured Outlook integration component for mail, calendaring, contacts, and collaboration. The new MAPI solution provides complete integration between the MailEnable server and Microsoft's Outlook email and office productivity client. Premium Edition also includes all the value of Enterprise Edition.

Calendaring integration is one important advantage of a MAPI solution. To extend on that for the corporate scenario, Outlook supports meeting invitations. You can schedule a meeting with others in the office, and they will receive an invitation in their inbox. They then have the option to deny your invitation, suggest another time that suits them better, or accept, in which case the appointment is immediately added in to their calendar.

What's new in this version: Version 7.05 fixes installation on Windows 8 or Windows 2012 may fail to create WebMail and WebAdmin web sites.
