Pros

Lightweight, easy install, lots of configurations. Dependable.

Cons

License was wonky and I had to deal with tech support. They were okay. Takes a short course to understand all the configs.

"Just What I wanted!!!!!!"

Pros

It Does What I Wanted when I want it!!!!Colors and Backup is easy to change.I bought it!!!!!

Cons

Lack of Organization. I would like it to be easier to organize as far as the backup screen. Especially if you have multiple backups on different Drives.

"Excellent program for backup folder to external disk."

Pros

The software works perfectly when backup many folders to external disk automatically. It can identify the external disk, even the external disk is mounted to a different drive letter!

Cons

So far, I haven't found anything.

"Free feature is enough for backup files"

Pros

The free feature is enough for backup local files, and has fewer limitations than other "Free" software. It can filter files by wild card patterns, include or exclude some sub-folders. Even backup all the files that will be deleted or overwritten before synchronization.
Advanced features are selectable by select license types.

"A feature rich synchronization software"

Pros

This software can synchronize & backup local folders with/to FTP/FTPES/FTPS/SFTP/Network drive/USB Drive/NAS/WebDAV/Amazon S3/ZIP achieve. It can also be used to synchronize and backup Outlook email/contact. This software can also encrypt file while coping the file, this is a very important feature when you backup files to public server such as hosted server and Amazon S3 bucket.

Cons

No Google Storage support

"Nothing special or new, no remote backup unless you pay"

Lots of options (too many, laid out on too many pages, sometimes you find out only later that in order to turn on the feature you want on this page, you should have checked some option three or four pages back.)

No remote backup unless you buy a paid version.

Summary

If you want to back up to a remote site, you have to pay for one of the premium versions. FreeFileSync does backup to remote and is free.

It's no faster or more complete than any number of free options out there.

The setup is excruciatingly complicated. Page after page of options, and many of the options require you to go to another page and turn something on or off there then come back.

There is a free version but it does not do quite a few things I need, including no resume, no auto-sync, and wont sync with network drives.

"Sync Never Fully Completed"

It had nice looks

Cons

Every time I would try to sync between my computer and network drive, it would freeze up. I tried many times with many restarts to no avail.

Summary

I "Removed" the program and I'm trying another.

P.S. Previously I experienced good performance with SyncBack (Freeware), but would like to try others.

Evaluation copy expires after 30 days.

There's nothing wrong with charging for software, but don't claim to be free when you're not.
