"Good for backups but not synchronization"

Pros

Easy and rapid synchronization of files between machines 1 or two way

Cons

Fails at recognizing deletions. If, for example, I move files on one machine into an archive folder or delete the file and I am performing 2 way sync, the file is copied from the other location back to the machine from which the file was deleted.

Summary

Great for back-ups and syncing with the one downside mentioned above. I have used ChronoSync on the Mac and it is able to recognize deletions. I need to find a similar product for the Win7 environment.

"Works exactly as expected"

Pros

Used this program for past year to do backups to external drive. Has always run and done exactly what it's supposed to do, which for me, is have an exact directory and file back up of key directories from my main hard drive

Cons

None for me!

"No customer service!!!"

I upgraded from v4.0 to v7.0 21 days ago. After installing the upgrade, none of the v4.0 jobs were converted to v7.0, so I wrote a mail to their customer service. Within 24 hours, I got a reply asking me to send them some Registry entries, and I did. Now it's been 21 days, I've sent them another 2 mails asking for any progress on my problem. No response!

Not just that, while I was trying to use v7.0 as best as I can, the program often quits automatically without giving any warning, that includes when I was editing jobs (thus I lost all the jobs I've edited during the session) and clicking on the Run Job button. Worst of all, I found some of the files are not backed up when they should be!!! I asked them to refund me because of such poor quality, they just refuse to respond!

So if you want to use this software, at least you should always check the backup files after backing up to see if all your files have been faithfully backed up.
